Processors, traders, importers, transporters, marketers and others involved in the seafood industry shall:
- If purchasing skipjack, yellowfin and bigeye tuna from large-scale purse seine vessels, for all trips beginning on or after January 1, 2016, ensure that 100 % of those vessels are on the ISSF ProActive Vessel Register.
- For the purposes of this measure, large-scale purse seine vessels are those at least 335 m3 fish hold volume.
